The second fight between Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr is almost certain next year. Boxing fans like me were waiting for this fight to happen long time ago. But it's good that it is finally made.
The first Hopkins-Jones fight was in May 1993. They fought for the vacant IBF Middleweight title. Watch the fight (clips by starjammerboxing2):

Jones-Hopkins: It might not be too late for a good show
By William Dettloff, The RING
To many, it’s no big news that Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones have finally come to terms for a rematch to their May 1993 middleweight title fight.
If it had come in, say, 2003, before Jones was sent snoring deep into the night by Antonio Tarver and then Glen Johnson, and when Hopkins was still younger than Methuselah, its reception almost certainly would have been universally positive. READ MORE

Edwin Valero should live alone
Boxing News World
A report by USAToday.com said that Edwin Valero, the hard hitting WBC lightweight champion from Venezuela, was arrested by Venezuelan police sometime last week on domestic violence (allegedly hitting his mother and a sister during “a family dispute”).
If this report is true, this will certainly off my respect for the hard hitting boxer. Hitting a woman is already a no no to me. Striking your mother or your sister is totally unacceptable to me no matter how you put it. If you can’t control your temper, stay away from your family. Live alone.

Max Kellerman right to shut off Floyd Mayweather Jr.
By George Kimball, Boston Herald
HBO’s Max Kellerman has taken some heat from people who ought to know better for pulling the plug on a scheduled in-ring interview with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the aftermath of last weekend’s mismatch with Juan Manuel Marquez. The contretemps developed only after Mayweather, having already declined to answer the one question anybody cared about - his having come in two pounds over the 144-pound contractual weight, thereby costing him a reported $600,000 - tried to wrest the microphone away from Kellerman.
