A report by USAToday.com said that Edwin Valero, the hard hitting WBC lightweight champion from Venezuela, was arrested by Venezuelan police sometime last week on domestic violence (allegedly hitting his mother and a sister during “a family dispute”).
If this report is true, this will certainly off my respect for the hard hitting boxer. Hitting a woman is already a no no to me. Striking your mother or your sister is totally unacceptable to me no matter how you put it. If you can’t control your temper, stay away from your family. Live alone.
