Some good points made by Dana White in this video (video was taken before the Mayweather-Marquez fight):
About Floyd Mayweather, Dana White said:
“Floyd Mayweather keeps talking about MMA because he feels threatened by MMA.”
He seems right here. In the recent interview with Bloomberg, Floyd Mayweather said that he is talking with Dana White to "get along and hopefully work together someday."
About boxing, Dana said:
“They’re giving the fight that you don’t want.”
“Boxing is trying to sell you the fight that nobody cares about. People want to see Mayweather-Pacquiao. But they’re not giving you that fight.”
Guess what. He might be correct here again. Recent reports said that Bob Arum expressed doubt on the possibility of Manny Pacquiao facing Floyd Mayweather Jr. next year. If that is the case, the fight probably won’t happen at all as Manny reportedly plans to retire in 2010.
