Pacquiao, who is preparing for his new job as congressman, has been complaining of a stomach pain since Saturday, and was finally brought to an undisclosed hospital on Sunday when his condition did not improve, said Jake Joson, the spokesman of Pacquaio.Pacquaio has been hospitalized in the past for acid reflux, a recurring ailment, triggered mostly when the busy Pacquaio skips meals, said Joson.
Acid reflux disease is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of stomach acid to the esophagus. A typical symptom is heartburn.
His condition is stable, and he is now resting, said Joson.
